Showreel

My showreel demonstrates additional work such as my 3D texturing and motion graphics.

What Will I Be Today?

For this animated series pitch and pilot, I worked with the client, Pow Studios, to explore and find a visual style that would meet their ideals for the show. I helped conceptualise the environmental design alongside Mary Guo which she then finalised while I created the look of the characters.

Please see my show real for a snippet from the pilot.

Kiddets

My role during the style guide and broadcast deliveries was to make a variety of 2D vector assets, oversee 3D asset renders, product mock ups and episodic selections.

Here is a small selection of what was created for the Kiddets style guide.

Bogey Ogres

I was tasked with creating additional characters to this IP, exploring creative ways and ideas to dress new and existing characters. These designs went through into the final look which were used for in-house animated shorts, design documents, and a mixed reality experience by Dark Slope which can be viewed here.

Personal Projects

A collection of some of my personal projects.

Wolfgang The Brave

Wolfgang the Brave was a project that mixed 3D and 2D animation together. It was based on a children’s book by Avril McDonald and so the pages were to be turned into 2D motion graphics. I had to edit and where necessary mimic the artist’s style in Photoshop to create files ready for animation. I then animated these in After Effects.

Please see my showreel for examples.

Book Hungry Bears

My role here as Creative Service Coordinator was to lead the compilation of a style guide for this children’s animated TV series as per the delivery requirements of our co-production and broadcast partners in China and Canada. This involved writing briefs and sketching up compositions to guide our 3D team in creating renders of the environmental assets, character poses and hero images. I then created vector art for each asset as well as iconography and examples of clothing, products and packaging for guidelines.

Here is a small selection of what was created for the BHB style guide.
